Sweep the Leg

A totally improvised funk collective led by Rachel Fraser and Johnny Lawrence. Each Saturday Johnny and Rachel would invite their friends to the Rogue for an epic funk/R&B/Hip-Hop session and let the music happen. No one in the band had any idea what was going to happen on any given night, no rehearsal, freestyle jams, live without a net. Some amazing guests turned up each week and some really great and crazy music happened, if you were there then you know! Vol.1 and Vol. 2 are some highlights from a 5 week residency in 2020
